“These is are the startest images of two alike 6"F/10 Maksutov Cassegrain’s. The central obstruction on these images is slightly larger than in the reality. This has to do with the secondary of the collimator that is bigger than this scopes obstruction. In startesting this instrument shows a spherical correction of about 1/7 wavefront p.t.v and very smooth surfaces. The colorcorrection is as perfect as a Mak can be made”

Another rather easy done simulation for the second image from the left in the second table with images. One of the main features that could not be corrected is the fact that the inner-edge(around the shadow)  in the original is brighter than the outer-edge. In the simulation the inner is slightly dimmer than the outer-image. This might have to do with some higher contrast-effects in the image. Also the middle-ring is brighter in the simulation according to the PSF’s , this is however not so clear when you look at the images. Total wavefront is estimated at 0.15 (1/7) PTV and 0.042 (1/24) RMS. Both of which agree with the estimate Markus gave.
