Resolution

The current version of the Aberrator works in planetary image with a standard resolution of 10 pixels/arcsecond for the original images. The new version allows anything from 1 pixel to 100 pixels/arcsecond. So the images you want to use does not have to be rescaled by another image-processing program.

Also this allows users to work on special topics like :
Can my telescope resolve any details on Ganymede ?

Below are simulations for 3.5 (left), 8(middle) and 16 (right)  inch refractors at 500 times magnification. The top row shows the image at full luminance, the bottom row takes into account that a 3.5 inch telescope will gather less light. Be aware that this presentation is only to be used to display the new features at work. The original used is displayed on the left
